About Us

Jorge and Silva Upholstery has been making and restoring soft furniture since 1999. Every single piece is made in Battersea, within a stone’s throw of the “Battersea Power Station”. We still continue to utilise the age-old, tested methods of upholstery by hand. All of our works are applied with traditional skills, care and is doubly scrutinised to ensure satisfaction.

Founded by two upholsterers from Portugal, we still continue Jorge and Silva’s well respected legacies with all the techniques and work ethics left by the business partners. We stayed a long established provider of upholstery, curtain making and services for soft

furnishing companies ever since.

Since the early 2000s, Jorge and Silva Upholstery have built a loyal and reputable clientele such as with Jane Morris from Percy Bass in Walton Street and leading interior designer Hugh Leslie for Jasper Showroom. Our clients include well-known people in the trade like Howe London, Jamb and Soane Britain, as well as many Interior Designers such as Bella Huddart and Finchatton.

Our current team consists of Bianca, Emilia, Carlos, Gonzalo, Luis, Jorge and Joseph. All together, we have over 90 years worth of experience. We will collect furniture and deliver finished products as part of our service.
